Isle of Mull, Scotland

I am an an amazingly fit woman with a dodgey hip, but other than that there is not a blemish on me. I do stuff, I paint things, all sort of things, and if anything is static for too long I just paint it anyway. The dog is now green and yellow as I had a bit left over. I'm gonna paint me husband pink.

This year is a big birthday for me. My daughter wanted to organize a party, but not being a great lover of parties I wanted to do something special instead. I decided to cycle Land’s End to John O’Groats, but when I told my brother of my plans and he said, "everyone does that so why don't you do the four points of Great Britain". Like an idiot I agreed to the challenge and started planning. So on the 25th August I will leave my home on Mull to start my ride in Penzance and cycle approximately 1500 miles over the following 6 to 8 weeks. I intend to raise money for the charity Toilet Twinning and hope to raise enough for 60 toilets!!!
